FYI - I hate the Comixology merger. The App is so much harder now.  I really miss Smart Lists.

Children's

Stinkerton McPoo Goes Exploring by Stephen Hodgkinson-Soto - a book about a farting dog.  It's cute.

Fantasy and Science Fiction

The Cleaners by Ken Liu- part of the Faraway collection of reimagined fairy tales.  I found the idea intriguing but the story didn't really grab me.

The Wickeds  by Gayle Foreman - part of the Faraway collection.  This uses several fairy tales with a good plot idea.  I just found it a bit to heavy handed with the message.

The Prince and the Troll by Rainbow Rowell, part of the Faraway collection.  This was a rather good climate fable.

Fiction

What's in a Name?  by Thomas H. Cook  - part of the Bibliomysteries series.  This is a series where established mystery authors write a short mystery story with a book at the center.  This really isn't a mystery but it is a good story.

Women Running in the Mountains  by Yuko Tsushima - a story about a mother in post war Japan.  The central character is not married which would be unusal at the time the book takes place.

Hazel and Gray by Nic Stone - part of the Faraway collection, a group of Amazon short stories re-imagining fairy tales.  Stone's story isn't fantasy or sci-fi.  It does have a sense of realism.  I was worried that she wouldn't use what makes the Hansel and Gretel stand out (siblings working together and saving each other), but she does.

Mystery

The Princess Game by Soman Chainani - a mystery at a high school.  You are either going to love it or hate, but it does focus on toxic masculinity and how society does endorse it.
